Searching
You
can search for a book in any category by:
Try
to avoid the use of words such as 'a', 'an', 'and' or 'or' in your
searches. These words cause the search to be ineffective.
The
search is not case sensitive, so 'SEARCH', 'search' and 'SeaRCh' would
all produce the same results.
If
you perform a search by 'Key Words,' and select the required category,
the system will search all titles, authors and book descriptions for
you.
Please
note: If you do not enter any text to search for in the search box, a
large number of books will be generated. To view our entire database
you may search in "All Categories" by "Key Words"
and leave the search box empty. This will, generate a very large web
page which will take a while to download!
Book
of the Month
To
view the book of the month details, simply click on the photograph on
the right. This will then search our database for the particular book
displayed.
Ordering
To
purchase from our book store, you will be required to register. This
is a one off registration. If you have not yet registered, simply
click the "My Account" button on the left and select
"Register Now". The option to register will also be given
before you can proceed to the checkout.
Once
you have registered, please remember your user name and password for
any future orders. This will ensure we remember your details, hence
save you time and effort filling in forms!
Credit
Card Details
All
credit card details are transmitted via our secure server. Once you
have registered, your credit card number will retained for future use.
For security reasons, we will only ever display the last four digits
of your number, when we need to confirm your details.
We
currently accept: Visa, Master Card, American Express and Diners Card.
If
your credit card details (including Expiry Date) change, please log
into "My account" on the left and make the necessary
modifications.
Browser
Compatibility
This
web site is compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and above
on PC and on Mac. The site also supports Netscape 4.0 and above on
both PC and Mac.
Compatible
resolutions: Minimum 800x600; Optimal 1024x768.
1152x864, 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 are also supported. Browsers using
640x480 resolutions will be able to view the site, however scroll bars
will be created.
Postal
Costs
Postal
costs will be added to your order. These costs can be found by
clicking here. The postal costs shown
are maximum costs and will be reduced in accordance to the parcel
weight. When you have placed an order we will e-mail you an invoice
which will show the postal costs.
